Contact details you give us when you book a call or get in touch, such as your name, email address and phone number. Information and documents you share with us as a client, including financial and tax records, and identifiers such as your Social Insurance Number or business number where a filing requires them. Basic technical information about visits to this website, such as pages viewed and browser type.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiries and schedule calls. To provide the services you engage us for, including preparing and filing returns with the Canada Revenue Agency and other government bodies. To meet our legal and professional obligations, including those set by CPA Ontario. To maintain and improve this website.

When we share it

We don’t sell personal information. We share it only as needed to provide our services: with government bodies when we file on your behalf, with service providers who host our website, booking system, client portal and email and who must keep it confidential, or where the law requires it. Some service providers may store information outside your province or outside Canada.

How long we keep it

We keep client records for as long as the law and our professional standards require, then dispose of them securely.

How we protect it

We use physical, technical and administrative safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, and limit access to the people who need it to serve you.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent, which may affect our ability to provide services. We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.

The information on this website is general. It isn’t accounting, tax or legal advice, and you shouldn’t act on it without advice that fits your situation.

Using this website, booking a call or contacting us doesn’t make you a client. A client relationship begins only once we’ve both signed an engagement letter.

Please don’t send confidential information through this website or by email before we’ve agreed to work together. Once you’re a client, use the client portal.

We work to keep this website accurate and current, but we can’t guarantee it’s complete or up to date. Links to other websites are provided for convenience, and we aren’t responsible for their content.
